Dental Radiography (X-rays)

Dental xrays are one of the most important instruments a veterinary dentist has to offer. It helps us determine dental problems before they turn into very serious issues. These are issues that are not easily visible to the naked eye. Dental X-rays can detect early traces of oral health problems such as dental cavities, gum disease, oral infections, and even oral tumors.
By discovering developing problems we can prevent pain, decrease the cost of future dental treatments and most importantly safe the teeth from going bad or worse being extracted at a later time.
There are always worry about radiation exposure from x-rays. By using the state of the art digital unit, we can significantly decrease the amount of radiation pets are exposed to the most minimal amounts making it a much safer option then the older (film) units.
